I want a higher resolution monitor for text editing application and some media consumption as well as some light gaming. Compare to 27UK650, 27UL600 doesn't have an adjustable stand, have slightly wilder colour gamut, but significantly worse contrast ratio (1100:1 vs 700-800:1), gsync compatibility is also better but not confirmed in 27UL600 (there's a guy who mentioned that it run fine in LG Extended mode which cover 40-60 fps range but not in normal mode which cover 50-60 range - the completed opposite to 27UK650 which only worked on normal but not Extended mode) Just to give you a clear view of my situation: I can pick 27UK650 at around 500 USD (or more) and 27UL600 at around 300 something so a about a 50 percent cheaper. For now, LG 27UK650 seem to fit most of my needs, however, I noticed that I can pick LG 27UL600 at a significantly less so kind of what to hear what you guy think about these two so that I can make a better decision. I've been looking for a new monitor for a while, so far don't see a lot that fit every bill within the price I am looking for now.
